Descripción
The research is based on the monitoring of mass movements, applying geodetic and remote sensing methodologies in the landslide that occurred in San José de Aloburo- Pimampiro. The study area refers to a mass removal event occurred on November 21, 2021, which displaced material of approximately 25 hectares. In the landslide zone a monitoring grid has been implemented using Ground Control Points (GCP) with the use of differential Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) obtaining the relative position of each one according to its temporality. In addition, remote sensors are used with the use of Remotely Piloted Aircrafts System (RPAS), obtaining spectral bands that allow the calculation of indiex such as Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), allowing the appreciation of specific surface characteristics such as moisture content and vegetation. Also, a survey was carried out to extract in situ samples of the slid material for its evaluation.
This research was developed in 8 months and 20 days, divided into four seasons for topographic and aerial photogrammetric survey. The results refer to a multi-temporal sequence of precise positioning allowing to calculate the displacement and direction of the GCPs, as well as a multi-temporal sequence of images and spectral indices of the study area, allowing to evaluate the development of surface features over time. The information obtained from the collection of material samples refers to moisture percentage values and soil type qualification. The relationship between the data obtained, such as spectral bands, spectral index and moisture percentage, has been compiled in a statistical validation model that allows modeling and spatialization of the moisture percentage variable of the entire study area. Based on the information obtained, it is presumed that the landslide is currently in a stabilization stage.
Key words: GNSS, remote sensing, spectral bands, NDVI, NDWI.
